This policy applies to the mic quality test, ranking features, sharing features, interest registration flows, and related pages operated by oto within this product.

- Your microphone recording used for MOS scoring
- Your MOS-related outputs, such as OVR, SIG, BAK, percentile, and ranking data
- Your display name
- Your country or region and native language, when provided
- Your email address or Google account information, when you choose to submit it
- Basic technical and usage data needed to operate and secure the service
3. Purposes of use
We may use this information for the following purposes:
- Calculate and display your MOS score and related results
- Provide rankings, sharing features, and product analytics
- Understand how different setups perform across languages and regions
- Respond to interest in work, gig opportunities, events, or related outreach
- Improve the product and user experience
4. AI training consent
We do not use your recording for AI training unless you explicitly opt in through the consent checkbox shown in the app.
If you opt in, your recording may be stored and used to improve our speech and audio quality models. This use is optional and is separate from the basic scoring needed to show your test result.
5. Rankings and public display
Your display name and score may appear in public rankings inside the product. We do not publicly publish raw recordings together with your identity.
Where reasonably possible, we separate recordings from directly identifying information. However, audio data can still be sensitive, and you should only opt in to training if you are comfortable doing so.
6. Retention
We may retain scores, rankings, profile information, and consent status for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, improve the product, and maintain research or analytics records.
If you opt in to AI training, we may retain your audio for model improvement unless we decide it is no longer needed or applicable law requires otherwise.
7. Service providers and disclosure
We may use service providers that help us host the product, authenticate users, measure analytics, or store data on our behalf. Those providers may process data only as needed to provide those services.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, protect users, or prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues.

- You can choose not to provide an email address
- You can decide whether to sign in with Google
