Recording Consent and Release
By submitting this form, you agree to the terms and conditions below.
I hereby consent to being audio recorded by otoearth, Inc. (“otoearth”) and its employees, agents, licensees, designees, successors, and assigns, and those acting under its authority (collectively, the “otoearth Parties”).
I give my permission for otoearth and the otoearth Parties to create one or more sound recordings of me — including my voice, conversations, and verbal expressions — as further described in the Online Consent Form for Participation in Research (the “Recordings”).
Grant of Rights
For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged,
I grant otoearth the unrestricted, perpetual, royalty-free, and worldwide right to — and to authorize third parties to —
use, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, and promote the Recordings.
Ownership
The Recordings, and all copyrights and related rights thereto, are and shall remain the exclusive property of otoearth, Inc.
otoearth may use and authorize the use of the Recordings, in whole or in part, for any purpose, anywhere in the world, in perpetuity, and in any and all forms and media now known or later developed.
I understand that otoearth is under no obligation to use the Recordings in any capacity, but may use them, without limitation, in connection with its research and product development projects involving spontaneous speech, voice datasets, and conversational AI models.
I acknowledge that I will not have the opportunity to review, inspect, or approve the Recordings prior to their use,
and that I will not receive any monetary compensation or other benefits in connection with the Recordings.
Release and Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge otoearth and the otoearth Parties from any and all claims, rights, or causes of action that may arise from or relate to the use, reproduction, distribution, modification, creation of derivative works, public display, performance, or promotion of the Recordings.
This includes, without limitation, any claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of moral rights, rights of publicity, or copyright.
Binding Effect
This Recording Consent and Release shall be binding upon my heirs, successors, and assigns, and shall inure to the benefit of otoearth, its successors, licensees, and assigns.
Voluntary Agreement
I understand and acknowledge that I am under no obligation to sign this Recording Consent and Release,
but that by doing so, I voluntarily agree to be legally bound by its terms and conditions.
